Spotlight On: Poppy Rose
Poppy has been transgender all her life, though the real her has come out in the last four years.
Most of what she has posted so far was penned 17 years ago and although her writing style has changed since then she is on the threshold of a new journey in her life and writing practise.
Her poems are influenced by her life. In between bouts of insanity and depression she writes for her own pleasure. Sometimes words come to her in a flash, other times in a dream. Her poetic style is never intentionally similar to someone else's however perhaps the nearest influence she has would be Vincent van Gogh.
At time of writing she is pleased to say that she still has both ears intact.
